I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas…and a happy and peaceful holiday season! As I look back on 2016, I’m so thankful for your love and support. It’s been a great year, filled with many exciting events, gigs and accomplishments – the most exciting for me, of course, was the release of my new acoustic CD, “Best I Can“. It’s amazing to hear all the positive feedback, so keep it coming! Playing the Gram Parsons Fest in Waycross for the 2nd year was awesome…and performing at the Shrimp& Grits Festival & the Christmas Tree Lighting on Jekyll Island with my band was such a blast. I finished off the year with a trip to Nashville for a songwriting workshop with Darrell Scott (click HERE to check him out…he’s fantastic!). It was an incredibly moving, revealing and motivating (stay tuned for new songs) experience for me…thanks so much to Darrell and my fellow “Songfood” attendees. Love, love, love!

So HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope 2017 brings you closer to the people you love and realizing all of your wildest dreams…

Hi y’all… So here’s the last installment of my original “Song of the Week” series. This tune finds me back in familiar territory… doomed relationships. Ha! I’ve done a lot of accounting work over the years, and in “Number”, I use my fondness for ‘calculating’ things to describe a failing relationship… ‘by the numbers’. Hello everybody… Here’s this week’s song for your listening pleasure. “I Know Your Song by Heart (Anam Cara)” is my first real attempt at an actual ‘love’ song…I’m pretty good at writing ‘lost’ love songs (…had lots of practice!), but I decided it was time to write something optimistic and heartfelt. And again, the inspiration will remain nameless. 😉  It’s about the search for your soul mate (Anam Cara is a Celtic term for soul friend) and understanding when you find them, you will easily recognize them… to the point of knowing their ‘song by heart’.
