Hey…this thing only has 4 strings. Guess I’m a bass player now? For real? Well…I’m still a newbie, but I had no idea how much fun it is. So “groove”y! To all my bassist friends… I have a new appreciation and love for what you do. Y’all rock! And why did I pick up this fine instrument? Because Anders asked me to! I’m honored and excited to announce I will be playing my sweet, new Gretsch hollowbody bass with the Anders Thomsen Trio this Friday and Saturday, 6-9pm, at the Broken Keel on River Street in Savannah, GA. If you haven’t seen Anders before, you’re in for a treat! And if you have – you know he’s an amazing, honky tonkin’ guitar player/singer/songwriter and awesome entertainer. Come out and see us!
