So I guess I went a little too far with my announcement last week concerning a big “reveal” this week. Unfortunately, I haven’t been invited to play the Grand Ole Opry…or become a backup singer for Marty Stuart. Of course, I’m always available for either or both! Ha! I just wanted to let everyone know that after 30 years of living on beautiful St. Simons Island, I decided it was about time for a change in scenery and recently moved to Savannah. I love it here, y’all! I’m working on some fun new projects and collaborations, so stay tuned for more on that. For now, you can come see me and my SideCars, Friday, December 20, 8-11pm at Village Inn & Pub. It’ll be my last gig on the Island for a while, so I really hope to see you there!

What a time I had last week, y’all! As you can see from the photos, I was incredibly fortunate to get backstage at the Grand Ole Opry…can you believe it?? I got to hang out with Marty Stuart, his awesome wife Connie Smith, and “His Fabulous Superlatives”. I’m still pinching myself! Actually, I thought my cheeks were gonna cramp up from smiling so hard…I look a little bit insane in the pics. Ha! It’s amazing to meet people who inspire you and find out they’re so nice. Marty is a hoot!

I also have some other pretty exciting news, but I’ll wait until next week for the reveal. If you wanna hear more, I’ll be rockin’ the speakeasy at Reid’s Apothecary in Brunswick, GA with my SideCars this Friday, December 13, 9pm until midnight. Hope everyone has a joy-filled Thanksgiving with lots to be thankful for. As always, I’m so thankful I get to play music for y’all (you know, that’s why I’m always smiling)!! Speaking of which, I’ll be playing with one of my SideCars (my rockin’ lead guitarist, Don Bledsoe) this Friday, Nov 29, at Captain Stan’s Smokehouse in Woodbine, 6:30-10pm. And on Saturday, I’ll be solo at Wine Alley at Wine, Body & Soul on St. Simons Island, 7-10pm. See y’all this weekend…
