Hey y’all… Anders Thomsen Trio is back (thanks to Melanie Murdock for my “back” pic) this week and ready to roll! We’ve got – and I’m not kidding – 5 shows for you to choose from. On Wednesday, May 13, we’ll be at the Awendaw Green Barn Jam (an original music showcase in Awendaw, SC) playing a set at 8:20pm. We have another show in SC on Thursday in Mount Pleasant for the “Live Under the Oaks” concert series, 6-8pm. Then, we’ll be back in Savannah for the weekend at Broken Keel on River Street, both Friday and Saturday, 6-9pm. And if that wasn’t enough (geez!), we cap off the week with a “honky tonk hour” at Coastal Empire Beer Company, Saturday, 10-11pm. With all these options, I know I’ll see you soon!

Come on down to Fernandina Beach this Saturday (May 9), y’all! Kellie Parr & Her SideCars will be playing one of our all-time favorite venues, The Boat House, 6-10pm. And make sure to have dinner while you’re there… the Key West grouper is amazing! Hopefully, the weather will be nice, but you can always contact me for more info. Hope to see you soon…

Another weekend of music in Savannah comin’ up! Anders Thompsen Trio will be back at The Warehouse Bar & Grille this Friday, May 1, 8-midnight. Last week, we were so excited to have country singer/ songwriter Channing Wilson join us for his sing-along song, “Pabst Blue Ribbon” (see video clip on my Facebook page). So fun! You never know who will show up THIS week. On Saturday, we’ll be at Over Yonder, 3-6pm, for our monthly first Saturday show. Put on your dancin’ boots and join us!

P.S. Big Red (that’s my bass guitar) is famous! Photographers from Esquire magazine were in Asheville, NC when we played Western Wednesday at The Double Crown and took this super cool pic… they even got my red boots…
