Another weekend of music in Savannah comin’ up! Anders Thompsen Trio will be back at The Warehouse Bar & Grille this Friday, May 1, 8-midnight. Last week, we were so excited to have country singer/ songwriter Channing Wilson join us for his sing-along song, “Pabst Blue Ribbon” (see video clip on my Facebook page). So fun! You never know who will show up THIS week. On Saturday, we’ll be at Over Yonder, 3-6pm, for our monthly first Saturday show. Put on your dancin’ boots and join us!

P.S. Big Red (that’s my bass guitar) is famous! Photographers from Esquire magazine were in Asheville, NC when we played Western Wednesday at The Double Crown and took this super cool pic… they even got my red boots…

Hey y’all… I’m still walking on air from my recent trip to Nashville. We had the most awesome time! As promised, I uploaded some videos… from Eastside Bowl (check out Anders’ smokin’ solo) and Robert’s Western World (a guest appearance with the super-talented, Paul Kramer and his excellent band). Coming up this weekend, I’ve got some fun band and solo shows. I’ll be rockin’ River Street with Anders Thomsen Trio at The Warehouse Bar & Grille, this Friday, April 24, 8-midnight. Then, I’ll spend the rest of the weekend in Fernandina Beach, FL. I’m the onboard entertainment for the Amelia River Cruise on Saturday, 6:30-8:30pm. Click HERE for tickets. On Sunday, I’ll be out on the porch at Green Turtle Tavern, 4-7:30pm… always a fun time!

And finally, Happy Earth Day, y’all! Hope everybody takes a moment to appreciate (and find ways to protect…) our beautiful planet. And to everyone in Brantley county and south Georgia dealing with the awful forest fires, I’m sending y’all love… and wishes for rain! Stay safe.

I’m back from Nashville, y’all! We had an amazing time…playing “Honky Tonk Tuesday” at Eastside Bowl (see pics… thanks Melanie) and Joelton Hardware, plus a surprise guest appearance at Robert’s Western World! More pics and videos to come, but right now I gotta head up to Broken Keel for a 6-9pm show with Anders Thomsen Trio. Tomorrow, Saturday, April 18, we’ll be at Jazz’d Tapas Bar, 7:30-11pm. Come see us and we’ll tell you all about Nashville…
