This weekend with KP…

Hey everybody… I’ll be playing my first solo gig in a long time this Saturday, February 19, 7-10pm at The Fish Dock Bar & Grill on the beautiful Sapelo River, north of Darien, GA. Come join me for some music and the yummiest, freshest seafood around… trust me, it’s delicious! Also, I’m really excited to tell you about a super cool podcast I did with my good friends, Dave Griffin and Sean Clark. I was so honored to be asked to join them for Episode 36 of Caution Light Media’s podcast series “Something in the Water”. We had a great time discussing music & songwriting… along with lots of other crazy topics. You gotta check it out! Click HERE for the YouTube link. And let me know what you think!!

Peace y’all, KP

Music this weekend…

Hi y’all… I’m so excited to announce the return of Kellie & the Kruze-o-matics! Actually, it’s been less than 3 months since our last gig, but it feels like forever! We’ll be rockin’ out behind the magic fence at Captain Stan’s Smokehouse in Woodbine, GA, this Saturday night, February 12, 6:30-10:00pm.  We’re feeling refreshed from our time off and can’t wait to play some new songs along with our old favorites. Speaking of new and old, here’s a clip of a “new” song we’ve added to our repertoire (Can’t Let Go) from a very “old” recording. It’s from a Nashville session with my late, great friend and big brother, Tim Haynes and produced by Neil Young’s late, great pedal steel player, Ben Keith…. recorded in 1999-2000. Wow… that WAS forever ago! Anyway, hope to see y’all this Saturday… the weather should be perfect for sitting by the fire. Yay!

Love, KP

It’s been a while…

Hey there everybody! I know it’s been quite a while since my last post… but I am indeed still alive and well! I’ve been taking time off to write some new songs and learn a few new cover tunes. As St. Vincent (aka, Annie Clark) would call it, I’ve been in “nun mode” for the past few weeks. But it’s gonna be so worth it! I’ll keep you posted on my progress. In the meantime, here’s a video of Kellie & the Kruze-o-matics performing a Gram & Emmylou duet, “Hearts on Fire” from the 2021 Virtual Gram Parsons Guitar Pull & Tribute Fest. And save the date for next Saturday’s gig (February 12) at Captain Stan’s in Woodbine… more info and videos to come. Take care, y’all and hope to see you soon…

Peace, KP
