Seems like forever since I’ve sent out one of my “Music this week” posts, but I’m happy to say… yes, there is music this week! Of course, we will be practicing social distancing – I’ll have my mask on until it’s time to sing. And I won’t be giving out my usual hugs… that’s a real bummer. So here’s the info… Kellie & the Kruze-o-matics will be playing this Saturday, May 30, 7-10pm at Moondoggy’s Pizza & Pub. We’re so excited to play for y’all again! And I’ve got some super cool gear to show you – brand new guitar pedals and a new, totally retro, Elvis-style microphone. Woohoo! Check out the pic. Or just come on down to Moondoggy’s this Saturday and you can hear all the new gear in person –  uh, a minimum of 6 feet away. 🙂 Hope to see you soon…

Well… there should be music tonight! Right now, I’m supposed to be getting ready to go meet up with my good friend, Donna Frost, for our Songwriters’ Night at the Village Inn & Pub… but no. Big sigh. Let’s hope we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming soon. In the meantime, y’all should check out Donna’s “Monday night musical get-together” on Facebook at 8pm (eastern). She plays lots of her original tunes on guitar and ukelele, along with some really cool covers…and she takes requests! Donna’s great, y’all! And hopefully I’ll get my act together soon and do a live show, or at least post some videos. Stay tuned…

Hey everybody – Just a quick note to say “Hi” and let you know I’m thinking about y’all. I hope you’re doing OK and finding some light in this dark moment in time… hopefully, a brief moment! I’ve been practicing guitar everyday, working on some new original songs and yep, I dyed my hair purple again (see my stay-at-home, makeup-free pic…yikes). I’ve also been listening to some amazing home performances from my fellow musician friends on Facebook and YouTube and I’m hoping to do one of my own in the next few weeks. I’ll keep you posted on that. Sending out lots of LOVE and virtual HUGS… y’all “Be Strong” out there!
