So here it is – The special announcement I hinted at about a month ago. I have a new band!! Introducing…  Kellie & the Kruze-o-matics. Woohoo! As you may have guessed from the automotive inspired name (and from my son Fisher’s awesome logo design), we’re full-tilt Rockabilly. We’ve got Reid Trawick on drums, Joe Theiler on upright bass and Duane Scarboro on lead guitar. They’re some real cool cats, y’all! I’ll be singing, of course, and playing my sweet, silver-sparkle Telecaster. We’ll be doing a bunch of hip tunes – old and new, classic to contemporary – with lots of surprises thrown in. It’s gonna be a real show people… so hold onto your hats! Our debut bash is set for January 10 at Bennie’s Red Barn – Tree Bar. Stay tuned for more details. In the meantime. don’t be surprised if you see me sporting a new rockabilly-inspired hairdo and some cool new threads. After while, crocodiles…

Well… it’s not looking too good for music this week! My gig at Catch 228 Oyster Bar & Grill on Friday has been canceled… it’s too dang cold to play outside! But I’ll be playing inside for the “SoGlo Sunday Songwriter Showcase” at Tipsy McSway’s this Sunday Nov 17, 7-9pm.  I’m co-hosting the show with Bill Garlen and Crawford Perkins. We had a blast last month! Sign-in starts at 5pm for those of you who want to perform your original songs. Come on out and give it a try… or just come out and support local, original music. We sure do appreciate it! Also, I wanted to send out a big THANKS to everyone who came out to PorchFest last Sunday. (thanks Tyra, for the pic) It was a huge success… the weather was perfect and the music was amazing! Thanks especially to everyone who stopped by Kelie Moore’s porch to see me… y’all are the best.

Hi y’all… I really hope you can visit the historic district of downtown Brunswick this Sunday, Nov 10, for one of the coolest events ever… PorchFest 2019! I’ll be playing Kelie Moore’s adorable porch at 614 Union Street, 1-2pm (see pic from last year). So many amazing musicians/bands playing on 40+ porches from noon until 6pm…wow.
