Hi y’all… Hope everyone has some fun things planned for this holiday weekend! If you’re still looking for something to do, I’ve got a couple of options for you. Friday, May 28, Kellie & the Kruze-o-matics will be playing at Captain Stan’s Smokehouse in beautiful downtown Woodbine, 6:30-10pm. We’ll be featuring a special guest, Lee O’Neal, on drums. He’s awesome, y’all! Reid Trawick is still recovering from an arm injury (yeeouch…bad one for a drummer) but should be returning to the band next month. Keep resting that arm, honey! Also, this weekend, I’ll be starting my steady Sunday solo gigs at Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria on May 30, 5-8pm. They’re gonna have a bar set up on the outside patio right next to where I’m performing, so come have some pizza and a glass of chianti with me. Fun!

Hey everybody – I’m so excited to tell y’all about a new venue I’m adding to my schedule on Memorial Day weekend! Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria has made the awesome decision to feature LIVE MUSIC, outside on their patio, every Sunday, 5-8pm. And guess who they asked to get this party started? ME! I’ll be playing most Sundays, beginning with May 30… and hopefully throughout the summer… with a few special guests filling in for me when I’m out of town. So come on out, support live music and a great new venue… and grab some of the yummiest pizza you’ll ever have. Seriously, it’s delicious!

OK y’all… I’ve gone and booked 3 gigs this week, so I’m definitely gonna see you in the next few days, right? Thursday, May 6, I’ll be playing at Catch 228 Oyster Bar & Grill, 4:30-6:30pm for their “Tap Takeover” party featuring Wicked Weed and Cutwater Spirits. Come have a cold beer with me! On Friday, May 7, I’ll be playing some hot rockabilly tunes with my Kruze-o-matic bandmate, Joe Theiler, for the “First Friday” event in downtown Brunswick in Machen Square East, 6-9pm, sponsored by Southcoast Bank. Don’t forget to bring your chairs. Finally, on Saturday, May 8, I’ll be over on Jekyll Island at the Holiday Inn – Anchor Bar, from 4 to 7pm. The weather looks like it’s going to be perfect for hanging out poolside and oceanfront. Yay! See you soon!
