Hey y’all… no gigs this week but I thought I’d share a couple of pics (thanks, Kim!) from last weekend. My Mom and I went to see Emmylou Harris at the St Augustine Amphitheater last Friday. She was amazing… and so funny! Her 5-piece band was spectacular… with Will Kimbrough on lead guitar and vocals. Just… WOW. Also, as you can see, the opener was one of my favorite artists, Dale Watson. He’s so cool, y’all! We had a great discussion about tattoos, music (his style is “Ameripolitan” …super cool) and Outlaw Country radio. I even told him about Kellie & the Kruze-o-matics and he said he’d watch/listen out for us. Yay!! Anyway, have a great weekend and I hope to see you at the Fish Dock on the 19th.
