Happy Halloween, y’all! So I took a few weeks off and now I’m ready to play! First, I’ll be the entertainment for Altamaha Riverkeeper’s “Clam Jam”, on Saturday, November 2 at Village Creek Landing on Saint Simons Island, 6-10pm. Click HERE for tickets and more info. And check out their website for updates on the Golden Ray freighter… that nasty, oil-leaking ship overturned in our beautiful sound. Ugh. I’m so glad they’re keeping an eye on it for us! Also, I’ll be playing for Sunday brunch at Captain Stan’s Smokehouse, 1-4pm. The weather is looking PERFECT, so take a drive down to Woodbine and see me!

One more thing… I’ve got a BIG announcement coming soon. Hint: it has something to do with a new band. Hmmmm…

Hey everybody… Please join me this Thursday, October 10, 8-11pm at the Village Inn and Pub for a special “Songwriters’ Night” with my good friend, Donna Frost. We’ll be playing and singing our original tunes and telling the stories behind them. Another year, another amazing Gram Parsons Tribute Fest! We had the best weekend of music and fun. So many fantastic musicians, so much love in the air! Thanks to Uncle Dave Griffin for always putting on a fabulous show, and to everyone who attended this year, with a special thanks to those of you who braved the midday heat for my set. Whew… it was HOT! What a thrill it was to hear/see/talk with the amazing, Jim Lauderdale! He’s a sensational performer and songwriter… and a super nice guy.  I’m so incredibly fortunate to be a member of the Gram Fest family!!

On to this week… I’ll be playing at Captain Stan’s Smokehouse for brunch on Sunday, October 6, 1-4:00pm. Come on down to Woodbine and hang out with me! Also, this Wednesday, October 2, 9-10:00pm, I’ll be the featured guest for a really cool radio show called “Savannah Music Local and Sustainable” hosted by Dave Lake on WRUU 107.5 Savannah.
